Discuss a similar projectAt Amber Farm in Norfolk, HWBC delivered the trenching and cable installation package for a 420kWp rooftop solar array and 430kWh battery storage system, installed across a working poultry farm on behalf of principal contractor Aniron Renewables.
Unlike a greenfield solar site, this was a fully operational agricultural building throughout construction — continuous power, ventilation and gas services in use, with no scope to isolate existing infrastructure. Every trench route was planned and dug with that constraint front and centre, and the battery units themselves were installed by controlled lift onto their ground-screw foundations.
