PROJECT
28MW Solar Farm Archaeological Trenching
- Northamptonshire
HWBC undertook archaeological trial trenching works in support of a proposed 28MW solar farm development in Northamptonshire. Working alongside Oxford Archaeology, our team excavated approximately 75 trial trenches across a 70-acre site using a Hitachi 13-ton excavator.
The Project
Prior to development, archaeological investigations were required across the site to assess the presence of potential archaeological features.
Working in partnership with Oxford Archaeology, HWBC provided plant, operators and site support to deliver the trenching programme safely and efficiently.
